They paid a high price for coal those brave pitmen. Some of the vistims were only ten years old The cemetery is in a bit of a state though. They should apply for a lotto grant to get it done up. The trees in particular look dangerously unsafe.

To make a long story short, you handed me your website's card as we parted, and invited me to have a look once we got home, and I just today got 'round to it. I must say, I am very impressed, and wish that I had known about it before we had come over - it certainly would have been useful in planning our trip! But it's very entertaining in its own right, and I have the feeling that I'll be a frequent return visitor. Thanks again for sharing your knowledge and love of your beautiful homeland with us (both in person and on the website), and best wishes to you and all of your family. Sincerely, Bill Robbins
